With all the reports and innuendos in the news about Ben Cousins and his substance abuse I thought I would mention The Watershed Retreat drug rehab. The Watershed is based in Texas and offers numerous programs for alcohol and drug addiction. They offer a range of programs to help both men and women. Such programs include; 12-Step Involvement, Dependency Education, Detoxification Services and Family therapy.
To make the experience more enjoyable they offer a range of activities which encourage the patients to be able to have fun without the need of having to take a substance. Some activities run at the retreat are: Trips to local parks & bowling,
Attendance at local 12 Step sponsored events, Ping Pong, Exercise Equipment (i.e. Stairmaster, stationary bicycle) and Cards.
