The lead story in today's newspaper is that the Grand Fional in Perth has added $40 million to the AFL's bank account... nice if you can get it!! That's what I said or thought but how much does Melbourne get for having the AFL Grand Final 100 years?? No wonder they put up such a fight to kep it - add to that the Melbourne Cup and the Tennis Australian Open...
