The Forever Cellphone Battery

Nokia is working on a way to ensure you won't have to recharge your cellphone... ever. The technology, which involves harnessing ambient electromagnetic radiation (the same stuff that creates static on your radio) to charge your battery, is already available - but it must be made about 10 times more powerful to generate enough juice for a cellphone.

Nokia's researchers hope to have a working model on the market in three to four years.
